Garden Planting Get-Together

Following Saturday’s Garden Circle

11:30am-12:30pm

Are you ready to finally see other community members and catch up for the first time in more than a year? Do you like to spend time in the garden? Do you need volunteer hours?

Join us next Saturday, May 29th!

In Denver, Memorial Day weekend is a traditional time to plant warm-weather vegetables and flowers. This year, the weather certainly agrees!

Activities include:

  • Harvesting early season greens and herbs – free to take home!
  • Planting tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants generously provided by Front Range Organic Gardeners!
  • Sowing seeds for beans, corn, herbs and more!
  • Saying hello and finally getting a chance to catch up on the last year!
  • Bringing food and eating your lunch among friends!

All are welcome – group members, volunteers, parents and friends, mental health professionals, and garden enthusiasts!  No garden experience necessary.

*Weather note* – forecasts are predicting a beautiful warm day!  Please dress appropriately in layers, wear sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.

IMPORTANT INFO: FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED, even outdoors and even if you are vaccinated. Please practice social distancing and remain home if you are feeling unwell.   Please note that bathroom use will be limited to one at a time.
If you are feeling sick or have concerns about getting sick, please consider our virtual support groups or phone availability as alternatives to in-person activities.
