Request a Caregiver Mentor

Mentorship Track for Caregivers

We know you because we’ve been you

If you are seeking support from someone who understands what you are going through as a caregiver, now is the time to fill out your caregiver mentee application. Through EDF’s Caregiver Mentorship Program, we will match you with a caregiver mentor who has walked the path and understands the complexity of supporting a loved one on their recovery journey.  This 10-week program will provide one-on-one support during weekly connections.  We strongly believe in the power of connection, meaningful conversations, and creating a community of like-minded individuals. We welcome individuals from all states in the US. Please note that this program has a limited number of available mentors, so there is no guarantee you will be paired.

We wanted to let you know about a change in our plans for the Mentorship Program. We were hoping to open mentee applications soon, but with our Program Coordinator transitioning out of her role in November, we’ll need to pause for now.
Our hope is to bring a new team member on board once our Executive Director returns from maternity leave and, if possible, restart the program next year. While we can’t guarantee the exact timing just yet, we remain committed to offering meaningful mentorship opportunities when the program is back.
We know this program means a lot to our community, and we’re so grateful for your patience while we take this time to make sure everything is set up for success. We can’t wait to welcome new mentees in 2026!
