We dedicated the month of October to an intensive fundraising campaign, raising a substantial portion of the funds we need to run our programs and breaking records for any fundraising campaign in our 20 year history. No matter how much you were able to give, you are all part of the drive to ensure that EDF’s vital services continue, expand, and remain free of charge.

This year is all about building off of 20 years of education, support, and advocacy. It has been 20 years since The Eating Disorder Foundation began offering free support and educational services for those suffering from eating disorders as well as their families and friends. Since then, we’ve built a robust schedule of support and discussion groups with global reach; a meaningful mentorship program; impactful, useful workshops that address the still growing and devastating problem of eating disorders; and more.

Together, we have built a strong foundation upon which we will continue to make a positive impact for years to come.

Your generosity and dedication have propelled us this far, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue building on the strong foundations we’ve laid together.  Your continued support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to see what the next 20 years hold in store. Thank you for being a vital part of our story.

If you didn’t get the chance to participate, not to worry – there are more opportunities to support us during Colorado Gives Day and Giving Tuesday.

“It is one of the few places that I feel safe and validated. Although my issues are difficult to face, I feel like I can forge ahead, if only to honor the bravery of my fellow group members. Also a thank you to EDF for seeing me, and offering space for me. Most people in my life never took the time to see me or listen. They wanted to force me into what they saw, or thought that I should be.”

“EDF provides a space for me, as a family member, to cry, talk, and hear from other experiencing the same
heartbreak.”
